The Visions of Australia Program provides funding to support the development and touring of quality exhibitions around Australia by Australian arts and cultural organisations.

The objectives of the Visions of Australia Program are to:

• increase access for Australian audiences to exhibitions of quality Australian arts and cultural material, with a particular focus on touring to regional and remote Australia
• encourage partnerships between organisations such as museums and galleries, particularly collaboration across the collections sector, to form curatorial partnerships and where appropriate, access to mentoring and skills transfer opportunities.

Program funding is delivered through two streams:

• Development: for the costs of planning and producing an exhibition to tour. This includes research and design
• Touring: for the costs to produce the exhibition and the costs to transport, install and dismantle the exhibition as well as deliver public programs.

To be eligible you must:

• be an Australian incorporated organisation
• have as your principal purpose the arts and/or cultural heritage (usually defined in the organisation’s Constitution or Articles of Association, and reflected in the Annual Report and Business Plans)
• have an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
• be registered for the Goods and Services Tax (GST), if required by the Australian Tax Office
• not have any outstanding reports, acquittals or serious breaches relating to any Commonwealth funding.

Unincorporated groups with an arts or cultural heritage purpose may seek funding but must be auspiced by an organisation that meets the above criteria and applies on their behalf. Individual business units and entities of local government or state government authorities with an arts or cultural heritage purpose (such as art galleries, museums or performing arts centres) are eligible to apply.

To be eligible for funding, any proposed tour must include at least three venues located outside of the applicant’s state or territory, with consecutive exhibition dates. Tours originating in metropolitan areas may include metropolitan venues, but projects should include at least one regional/remote venue.

Tour applications must include venue confirmation forms from each venue. Development applications must include expressions of interest forms from each venue.

Festivals Australia provides funding to support individual art projects in regional or remote locations. Eligible projects take place at festivals, or significant one-off community events such as a town celebration or opening of a new community resource. Festivals Australia will:

• provide access to a diverse range of engaging, innovative arts projects that grow audiences at festivals across regional and remote Australia,
• support partnerships and collaboration across the arts sector, and
• encourage community participation in arts projects at regional and remote festivals.

The program delivers two funding rounds each year usually opening in February and September. The Minister for the Arts (or their delegate) approves funding under the Program Guidelines.

To be eligible for funding, applicants must:

• be an Australian incorporated organisation*,
• have an active Australian Business Number (ABN),
• be registered for the purposes of GST, if required by the Australian Taxation Office, and
• not have any outstanding reports, acquittals or serious breaches relating to any Australian Government funding.

Unincorporated groups are eligible for funding but must be auspiced by an organisation that meets the above criteria.

The On Farm Connectivity Program Round 3 assists Primary Producers to take advantage of digital agribusiness solutions to boost productivity and improve safety. The grant is provided as a rebate to Approved Suppliers following the sale, delivery, installation, and training, where applicable, of eligible equipment to eligible Primary Producers. Eligible Primary Producers must access the program through an Approved Supplier.

The program forms part of the Australian Government’s Better Connectivity Plan for Regional and Rural Australia.

To support equitable access to funding, assessments will be prioritised for applications where the Primary Producer has not previously received a benefit under earlier rounds of the On Farm Connectivity Program.

Approved Suppliers can apply if they:

• are listed as an Approved Supplier on the DITRDCSA website
• supply eligible equipment (list of eligible equipment is available on the DITRDCSA website) to an eligible Primary Producer (as defined in section 4.2 of the guidelines)
• can provide a quote for eligible equipment that meets requirements
• are able to supply (including delivery, installation and training where applicable) the eligible equipment to the eligible primary producer within the 120 calendar days from the date of notification confirming approval of application
• ensure the Primary Producer’s ABN has been registered for 12 months or longer at the time of application submission. Where the eligible Primary Producer has multiple properties with a separate ABN for each primary production property, the properties must be at different locations
• confirm that they do not have any national interest, financial, legal, regulatory, governance or other issue, including in relation to any key personnel or related entities, that could create a material risk, conflict with Australian Government policy, or bring the Australian Government into disrepute if funding were provided.

Eligible Primary Producers must:

• have an ABN registered for 12 months or longer at the time of application submission
• carry out primary production activities under one of the eligible ANZSIC codes (refer to Appendix A of the guidelines)
• have an average annual gross income between $40,000 and $4 million (i.e. total revenue before expenses and tax) over the three full financial years (2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25). See section 6.1 of the guidelines for further information.
• not be a hobby farmer.

The Safer Local Roads Infrastructure Program (SLRIP) provides funding for projects to address current and emerging priorities in road infrastructure needs.

SLRIP has 4 objectives that are linked to road infrastructure priorities:

• road safety
• productivity
• road resilience
• sustainability.

The program funds projects under three project streams:

• Road construction and upgrades
• Bridge renewal 
• Heavy vehicle facilities

It is an ongoing, application-based, merit-assessed, funding program, open to all state and territory governments and Local Government Authorities (LGAs).

The Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program provides grants to enhance the safety and accessibility of aerodromes/airports in remote and very remote areas of Australia. This will:

• improve the safety of aircraft, operators and passengers using remote and very remote airstrips
• facilitate improved delivery of essential goods and services such as food supplies, health care, community mail and passenger air services
• complement air services delivery to communities subsidised under the Australian Government’s Remote Air Services Subsidy (RASS) Scheme
• meet operational requirements of aeromedical (including the RFDS) and emergency services
• support improved access to air services for people with disability.

Grants will be from $5,000 to $4 million.

The grant will be up to 50% of eligible project costs (grant percentage), unless either:

• the applicant (you) and a third party (could include state, territory or local government or other non-government funding) are both contributing to eligible project costs, the grant amount for this opportunity may be reduced to a third of eligible project costs
• the applicant (you) meets the definition in the grant opportunity guidelines as an Indigenous Owned and/or Operated Aerodrome, the grant will be up to 100% of eligible project costs.

The Active Transport Fund (ATF) is part of the Australian Government’s commitment, under the National Road Safety Strategy 2021-30, to improve road safety outcomes, including for vulnerable road users such as cyclists and pedestrians. The program also supports the Australian Government’s commitment to reducing transport emissions and supporting active and liveable communities.

The ATF is an ongoing, application-based, merit-assessed, funding program, open to all state and territory governments and Local Government Authorities. The program provides funding for the upgrade of existing, and construction of new, bicycle and walking pathways across Australia.

Applications can only be submitted by a:

• State or Territory Government entity, or
• LGA.

Applications in partnership with other government and non-government entities must have a lead applicant from a state or territory government, or LGA. Applications cannot be submitted by, and will not be accepted from, any other entity.
